Let the games begin!
February 10th, 2010Hello everyone,
Two days to go until the 2010 Olympic Winter Games start. This is the moment that I have been waiting for. I am feeling strong and I hope to shock the world in the next few weeks.
Your support has been tremendous. It is what gets me through thick and thin. I smile because I know I have awesome family, friends and fans.
Please make sure to check out the schedule I posted so you don’t miss seeing me and the rest of the team race.
I hope you all have fun watching the Olympics!
Make sure to grab my cup from McDonald’s while they are still out!

Hey J.R!!!!! Um okay I just wanted to tell you what an amazing and inspirational person you are. I have always been inspired by the olympics and your story truly and honestly brought tears to my eyes. My whole family was watching the short track event and we were all screaming at the t.v. when it looked like the koreans were going to take the podium. So I was just curious, how did you feel when you realized what happened and you got third? I also wanted to wish you luck tonight and even though I’m nearly positive that you don’t read these posts and I’m kind of embarassed and probaby sould just like all the other seemingly crazy girls that have left their numbers and hoped that they’d get to hear from you. but hey you got to try right? hahahaha well you have my email but if you wnat to talk to me to keep yourself occupiedd after your event I’ll give you my number and, I would be honored to hear from you. I also regret quitting figure skating, my teachers told me i had some real talent. but hey, we all have to make sacrifices. I’d just like to thank you for everything.
JR, you are truly my idol. I was going to quit piano, my passion, because i’ve been going through a lot. I had school, extra classes, AP’s, and to top that, my foot has been pretty bad, making it hard to use the right pedal. After I saw what happened to you, I’ve decided to continue. I am now qualified for 6 competitions.

Congrats JR on two great races tonight! You looked like a high speed assassin on the ice tonight. Years of battle training was decided in seconds. Epic!!!! You rock!!! This was better than any cage fight. All the blood, sweat and tears are paying off and will end up in the run for the gold in the finals. JR, this is your time and your season. Are you a christian? I kinda thought so. But.. well maybe not. I really enjoy watching you and Apollo skate and stayed up extra late to watch you guys interviews. Your truly amazing!!!! I was soooo bummed when I heard you got disqualified from the race last night. The guy grabbed you!! GEEZ!!! Well I was also ammazed to hear ur from Washington cause thats where I live too! Crazy! Well it would be truely amazing to hear from you in email (not some stupid machine robot thing) And I really hope its really you reading this! I love your website!
